Emmaus Catholic Church

We picked Emmaus after we decided on our reception venue simply because it was the closest Catholic church.  The church is absolutely beautiful and we got compliments from just about everyone we talked to that night!!  We are not members so we had to pay quite a bit for the church ($900 I think).  We did our marriage preparation stuff at a church in College Station and had our own priest come in from out of town to do the mass.  The deacon who handles all the wedding stuff was very nice and helpful for us since we had so much to coordinate in different towns.  The church also provides two ladies to help you with all the ceremony planning, etc, which was helpful.  I felt like it was a little expensive to get married there...it just felt like they were nickel and dime-ing us for every little thing....$900 to rent the church, $200 for the organist, $200 for alter flowers (supposedly optional but they guilt you into paying for as a "donation" to the church).  Beautiful church, easy to work with, seemed too expensive.....A
