Star Hill Ranch

LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEDDDD this vendor!  Such a unique and beautiful place.  When we started looking for a reception venue, we knew that we didn't want to have a hotel ballroom style event.  We didn't want something completely outdoors and it had to be big enough for our 250 guests.  I found SHR (on the knot of course!) and showed the website and pictures to Justin, who thought it seemed kind of cartoonish like terror in tiny town or something.  We went to visit anyway and as soon as we stepped out of the car we fell in love.  It is almost magical.  We loved that it had a Texas hill country feel without being too "cowboyish".  The possibilities at this place are endless.  There is so much room for people to move around.  Another huge selling point of this venue is the owner, Adam.  He really cares about this place and you can tell it is his passion.  He wants everyone who sets foot there to feel at home and love it as much as he does.  To say that he is easy to work with is an understatement.  He will literally do whatever he can to make sure your special day is exactly the way you envision it.  I cannot say enough good things about him and his place.  If you are even considering SHR, you MUST go out there and see it in person and meet Adam.   We had the place rented for the entire day, so we were able to hang out there during the day and get ready in the bride's house.  We also did our engagement pictures there and they turned out fabulous.  AAAA+++++++
